Reus airport, located some 7 kilometres from the city centre of Tarragona, has modern facilities that have undergone significant growth in recent years. Since 2005, Aena has carried out numerous expansion and refurbishment projects, such as the start-up in 2008 of a new check-in building that integrates the three buildings (arrivals, check-in and departures) into a single building. In 2010, the new boarding area was opened for the first time and in 2021 the terminal extension works were completed in the functional design.
